Art of the Day: "Flowers in the rain, 2015" by Colette Baumback

“The idea to create this work was inspired by Artfinder's "Rain" project, I love the intensity of colour that comes with the summer rain. I have used an unusual palette based on turquoise and pinks to give this painting a dreamlike quality. The work was created with lots of heavy body paint applied with a palette knife giving the painting texture.”

We must close our eyes to see things clearly and to find our inner treasure. Original acrylic painting. Signed on the front. Unique and one of a kind with a certificate of authenticity.
