About Zoltan Till

  • Biography
I was born in Budapest in 1977, although I spent my childhood summers in the countryside, breathing in the atmosphere of rural life. After completing the painting course, I experimented with various themes and techniques. My interest was more and more focused on classical image representation, apart from smaller detours, from works of computer graphics to shorter animated films. From the experience gained so, computer graphics continue to be the basics of my work. Based on these composite sketches I make my images, which increasingly become the meeting point of the classic, realistic landscapes and the visions of the human psyche. I try to find these connections in my works, creating a kind of visual and thought-provoking tension. I regard the creations as a visual diary that is enriched by tiny gestures and emotional charges that surround the surface; as opposed to the clarity of the objects that fit into the fabric of the image, giving a new meaning to a commonplace landscape. With my art, I strive to balance the inner harmony of the image. I currently live and work in Budapest
