Zlatina Krusteva was born in 1985 in Varna, where she graduated from the high school "Dobri Hristov" with the specialty graphics and printmaking. These drawing techniques studied there nurtured and affirmed her love for compositions in black and white, building an image with air and minimalistic approach, which are the basis for the visual construction in her graphic artworks unto this day. Later she applied to study fine art ceramics at the National Academy of Arts because it was giving her one huge field for experimenting with the shape in combination with different materials. She was a student in the class of Prof. Bozhidar Bonchev, where after her bachelor's degree she received her master's degree too. Fine Art Ceramics gave her the opportunity to realize how unlimited is the capacity of its materials for search, expression and inspiration. The variety of ways to build the form and the ability to master a function or artistry through the material is still her greatest passion. Her creative pursuits have always been connected with the person, personally, his feelings and their nuances as an object of depiction.
