About Zhenya Yazvicheva
Biography
All of my works are a mix of observations of the world around me, my impressions, emotions, and the natural movement of my hand.
Currently, I am deeply engaged with themes related to everyday life. After experiencing many negative emotions due to war and emigration, I realized that the realm of the everyday is still something I can control. This realization encouraged me to observe it more closely and notice its subtle, hidden beauty.
Through my work, I want the viewer to become a co-observer of my experience, to engage with simple yet meaningful moments, and not to dismiss familiar scenes as mundane or insignificant. I hope to inspire a pause, a moment of contemplation.
I believe that the skill of attentive observation is one of the most important. It helps us maintain an interest in life and find new meanings, even in the most challenging circumstances.
