About Yuliya Smolenchuk

Hello Artfinder! My name is Yuliya, I am a full time artist based in London, UK. I was born in the Soviet Union city of Aldan on April 1985. I have an architectural education and background. The technique of execution of my artworks is oil on canvas, but not in the usual way of pasty oil painting, my technique looks more like watercolour, which I consider innovative. I am passionated about my technique, I experiment a lot on it. It helps me to add more air, volume and textures to my artworks. As an environmentalist and impressionist, inspired by nature, I feel the need to provide special emotional support to nature and our planet with my art. My truest desire is to remind others about the beauty and love of our planet to us, to pay attention to its creative features. My work of art is always a collective image, it’s not based on a real image, but on the impression of some flowers, landscapes, textures or colors. I started my artist journey in 2019, at this moment i have more than 50 paintings for sale. I have created over 110 paintings and my creativity has never been more fine tuned! I have experience selling in an online gallery and via Instagram, packing experience for sending paintings abroad. My works are already in private collections in the US and Europe. My education: 2003-2008 Pacific National University, faculty of Architecture and Design, speciality Architecture. 2021 Painting courses with an Impressionism specialist Ivan Fedotov, 3 months. 2022 Online educational program for creative specialists pARTa, Laboratory CTRL+ART, 3 months.
