About Ying Zhang

My name is Ying Zhang. I am an artist from China, born and live in Beijing. For now, my works are mainly oil paintings and mixed media works. I like animals, they are my endless source of inspiration: incredibly beautiful, attractive, mysterious and emotional creatures. They are the main subject of my paintings. Actually I've always had pets and now I have two cats and a duck that live with me. Watching them every day makes me think that animals are so amazing that they must have a secret life that we don't know about. It must be a wonderful world and I want to paint it. My paintings can be bright and lively , some of them are odd and interesting, arouse the imaginations. Anthropomorphism is an important feature of my works. I like to fantasize about the secret lives of small animals and show them cute and cute traits that make the viewers smile. I just paint what I want to paint, hope the like-minded people will love them. I want to be an independent full-time artist and make a living by selling my works and I know it won't be easy so I hope to get help from ARTFINDER to make my dream come true.
