When I started to learn painting, very soon I have realized that in order to draw a really beautiful picture, it is not enough to be able to see and make the right composition or to have a good shading technique. It is not enough to know all the rules or understand the anatomy and perspective. All of that is important and definitely necessary knowledge - but it's simply not enough... One of the most difficult tasks for me, as it turned out, was at finding the right color... I often looked at the paintings of masters and admired the color solutions, color combinations and surprisingly harmoniously arranged color accents, which made the painting almost alive... I wanted to discover this secret - the secret of harmony of colors. I asked my teacher, and have read many articles and books about painting. But I just couldn't comprehend this science, the mystery of color harmony. Until one day, while looking out of the window of my house, some bird sitting on the tree grasped my attention. Carefully examining her amazing colors, I realized the beauty of masterly combined tinges right in front of me. 

Looking around at the Nature, created by God, I began to see the Divine palette of colors and the hand of a true Artist! How He contrastingly painted with silver paint, the stars, in the dark-blue sky. He dressed the kingfisher in a bright turquoise with a brownish-red, masterfully combining colors, which at first glance completely incompatible. God painted the heavens in an indescribable riot of colors, sunsets and sunrises, a stormy clouds or a sunny sky. He created the perfect harmony of colors. In Genesis 1:31 it is written that by creating our world, God looked at His creation and it was very good. Harmony and beauty of the creation testifies that God is a great Artist who values and loves beauty. 

Man is created in the image and likeness of God, and therefore we are able to see and appreciate harmony and beauty. And therefore, we have the desire and ability to create something beautiful ourselves, like our Father and Creator. God gave us life and created this world for us. He wants us to live our lives in love and peace, discovering Him through His Creation. But the daily vanity absorbs us, preventing us from seeing the beauty of the world around us, we don't have time to consider and see the beauty in the ordinary.

We don't have time to see the glowing eyes of an old man sitting on a bench, glowing despite a long and perhaps hard life... How a ray of morning sun passing through a transparent cup of tea, throws golden shades on the tablecloth, or how the sunlight got entangled in the hair of a street musician, who plays the violin... 

Those and many other fleeting moments, I want to capture in my works, gathering and saving wonderful moments of our life...
