Biography
As an artist, I was always attracted by the paradoxical nature of the world around me. Paradoxes are intriguing and lead to an attempt to portray non-pictorial motifs with pictorial and graphic means. This often leads to the use of different experimental modes of expression. And this is one of the sides of my work.
The second is an attempt to convey the beauty of the surrounding world in beautiful spots and colors. Here the emotion is hidden in color. And the coloring comes with years spent on the plein air, working with nature. And this is a tradition that goes back to the Impressionists. And in time you realize that trying to convey the beauty of the world can last forever. It is often necessary to rewrite the same work many times, until the color starts to evoke an emotional response.
