About Vicki Van Vynckt

  • Biography
I have always been inspired by the beauty and spirituality I find in nature. It is my intention to express in my paintings the ever present life force that weaves its way through all things and breathes life into our world. I use vivid color to create a harmonious blend of imagery.
I hope that those who view my art will feel uplifted in some way, and perhaps even feel the connection with nature that I had when creating the painting. Being a poet and coming from
an artistic family, I see art as a doorway to the "higher self", and therefore an important aspect of my life.

I have been painting in oils for 30 years and teach lessons out of my home in North Carolina, as well as at Isothermal Community College.
