Biography
Vé has had early success in her career as an emerging artist. Her paintings have been featured on “Hubert et Fanny”, a Radio- Canada TV sitcom and publications such as Le Soleil (Québec, QC), Radio-Canada (Montréal, QC) and featured in House and Garden (United Kingdom: The Art Edit (February 2018). Vé Boisvert’s artwork has been collected in Eastern Canada, England and the United States.
Inspired by shapes and elements from nature, Vé’s creative approach consists in making the imagination perceptible. Her primary source of inspiration resides in the wonder withheld in life’s’ simple pleasures and meditation. She favours both her intuition and a color superposition technique to create paintings gorged with positive energy. Vé allows the rhythm of music to be her guide; fore it represents the language of emotion for her. To create her canvases, she works with her strong feeling of resilience. That being said, the music she listens to is nostalgic and melancholic since low frequency music allows her to transform profound emotions into something beautiful and inspiring.
The energy her paintings exhale is tainted with positivity and hope. Vé walks us through her universe of colors, happiness and lightness. Her canvases are engorged both with sensitivity and self-expression. In her work, Vé orients her practice toward Feng Shui principals in order to insure a balance between warm and cool colors. Her spiritual journey has a strong influence on her intuitive art. If we where to phrase Vé’s art in a nutshell, we would say that her art «feeds the soul».
