Biography
My artistic practice explores human links through an anthropological study of the aesthetics of customs, reflecting on the interactions between the body, the territory and the social constructions that surround them.
My painting is rooted in a contemporary reinterpretation of Uruguayan planism, which I have called "Planissimo". This evolution is characterized by a more bold use of saturated colors and an even more synthetic representation of the images, focusing on highlighting their aesthetic and emotional dimension.
My work is manifested through painting, installations and interventions, and the use of the drawing and photography, with a particular emphasis on the beach as a setting.
