Biography
Ulyana Korol, creates vibrant, emotionally rich oil paintings that celebrate the delicate beauty of nature. Her work is distinguished by its masterful use of color, expressive palette knife textures, and a deep connection to the world’s natural wonders.
Artistic Vision & Inspiration
Nature is the most skilled artist, and Ulyana seeks to capture its fleeting beauty on canvas. Traveling is her greatest source of inspiration, and she often finds herself “hunting” for perfect moments through photography. Her passion for macro photography has profoundly influenced her painting style—particularly in her signature large-scale floral compositions, where oversized peonies bloom with breathtaking detail.
This love for close observation extends to her water series, where she masterfully depicts the refraction of light, reflections, and the movement of water.
Ulyana’s art is about more than aesthetics—it’s about emotion. Her paintings radiate warmth, happiness, and a profound appreciation for nature. Through her bold colors and luminous compositions, she invites viewers into a world of joy, tranquility, and poetic beauty.
Technique & Artistic Journey
From an early age, Ulyana immersed herself in the world of art, attending painting studios, experimenting with different techniques, and graduating with honors from an art school. At just nine years old, she held her first solo exhibition, marking the beginning of a lifelong artistic journey.
Her preferred medium is oil on canvas, and she is known for her palette knife technique, which adds rich texture and depth to her paintings. The contrast between bold, impasto strokes and the graceful fluidity of flowers and water gives her work a distinctive and modern feel.
After taking a temporary pause to raise her three children, Ulyana returned to painting with even greater dedication in 2014. Since then, she has actively exhibited her work in solo and international group exhibitions, gaining recognition from collectors worldwide.
