Biography
Tracey-Ann Morris (B.A., M.A) is a trained fine artist and art teacher from Western Australia. Bright, textured colours come to mind when viewing the works of Tracey-Ann Morris. A rich palette of Western Australian colours are used for contemporary landscape and abstract works. Influenced by Abstract Expressionists, Tracey-Ann's current work focuses on colour, texture, movement and light.
Recent
works have become even more abstract, expressing the landscape and the larger
cosmos in vivid colors, movement and energy. Tracey-Ann is wanting to paint a
deeper connection with her surroundings. Her latest inspiration is the 'sensing
mind' or the connecting mind, where the canvas and paint becomes the interface
for connecting to memories, places, feelings and nature.
