Biography
Tonderai has been drawing all his life, after leaving school he went to college to study BTEC National Graphic Design, though he enjoyed it, as time went on he felt Graphic Design was unfufilling, after finishing college he decided not to go on to Uni. Instead he decided to pursue a career in fine art.
Tonderai taught himself how to paint, as he learnt more about the diversity of African culture, cosmology and spirituality, he learned more about himself and it fuelled his desire create and express the ideas.
Along with his early influences comics, art nouveau, graffiti and anime Tonderai has been able to create a unique style.
His work has appeared on BBC, The Voice Newspaper the charity A TIme To Change among others
