Biography
UK-based artist Tom Lewis plays with color and character, blending traditional and digital painting techniques. Inspired by too many things to list, he has a particular interest in Edo period Japanese woodblock prints and a fascination with storytelling. Fueled by concepts such as ‘the true, the good, and the beautiful’, ‘wabi-sabi’ and the occasional jumbo bag of Revels, Tom often gets carried away musing about the nature of meaning itself. Although you may not be able to tell this from the work that he produces... His art, exhibited internationally, is known for its uniquely recognizable aesthetic.
Despite his repeated attempts to shun THE ALGORYTHMS, Tom’s strange but delightful legion of devout fans continue to engage with him on social media, for which he is very grateful.
