    A custom order of an unique artist's print of the Lotus Temple in India. This particulat one is the Lotus Temple in Hampi, Karnataka. This is when coming pack from the printers and doing quality control, titling and signing the art print before taking it to the framers.

    Calm and tranquillity in Kidbrooke Park with the peaceful sound of birds twittering and the brook.

    I love the sound of the birds chirping away on a sunny day - it really calms a busy mind and I find it therapeutic to just sit and listen to it and tuning out the stress and worries of the mind. Kidbrooke Park is like a quiet oasis in South East London and has the Quaggy River running trough it - it really feels like you're not in a busy city when walking or sitting amongst the birdsong, the sound of the water in the brook and the thick leafy vegetation and wildflower meadow.

    Shooting industrial landscape on 10x8 large format in the outskirts of Paris November 2006.

    Taking the 10x8 large format camera out for a bit of landscape photography shooting in the outskirts of Paris, France. Shooting analogue negative film it's really going back to basic when shooting large format. I just love shooting in this way and wish it would be more commercial viable in this digital age. It's slow photography and quite a costly exercise shooting analogue and at such a large format but the effect and atmosphere created is unrivalled.

    Waiting for the sun to rise at Uluru.

    Behind the scenes snap on my mobile phone as I'm waiting for the sunrise at Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the Northern Territory of Australia. All set up and camera poised all framed up it was just a waiting-game to get the optimal light. As you can see I was not the only one there waiting for the sun to rise. Uluru is sacred to the Anangu, the Aboriginal people of the area, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Some time back I decided to get some promotional material printed up for my Artfinder marketplace. Using MOO I printed some flyers to be used as compliments slips and postcards to give away as business cards. I have had very good feedback from both the flyers and the cards, so it's definitely something I will continue doing. With every order here on Artfinder I now add a compliment slip with a personal thank you to the buyer, and then I add a postcard or two in there too.
