I’ve lived in Sussex near the sea and the South Downs for twenty years, and my paintings from my Brighton studio reflect the influences of my surroundings. I am never happier than painting, and want more people to see my work, and hopefully appreciate it.

 I have continued to draw and paint throughout my life, gaining inspiration from the dramatic shapes of natural landscapes and seascapes, and the interplay of sea, sky, and light around me. My love and connection with the South Downs and coastline inspires my paintings. My canvases in oils capture the shifting light and tumbling clouds with an energetic style, and my paintings take on an organic life of their own. I like to use movement within my work with a freedom of expression, using bold open brush stokes creating a sense of energy and emotion. I am looking for a professional online presence that will bring my work to the attention of art lovers around the world.
