Anton Tische, 33 y.o.
BIOGRAPHY
Beginning in 2005 with a passion for graffiti, by 2009 the author began working with three-dimensional forms.
Anton is a self-toughed artist who learned all the processes and practices art by himself. Studying the shapes and dynamics, the author recreated the sculptures of the great masters.

Since 2016, the author has been exploring the duality of human nature in his works.
The main motive in the author's work is an internal dialogue. The works reflect either the confrontation, or the interconnection of light and dark parts within human mind.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Based on dualism conception there are two foundation opposite powers in the world.
Also in the human mind, the two beginnings co-exist. In my investigation, I search how to materialize these intangible forces that affect us. To visualize what is hidden. To touch what cannot be touched.
DUALITY PROJECT
The Idol sculpture, was made with clay in 2016 marked the beginning of series of works and project "Duality".
In this project, I metaphorically portray types of people through animals. Embodying the idea of duality, I use two images - animals as the embodiment of light and purity, and latex as darkness and depravity.
Each sculpture tells the story of how darkness can consume us, either partially or completely.
The Duality project is not limited to a series of sculptures, it also gave rise to the author's unique medium, the dual pixel. It is essentially a mini bas-relief of the Idol sculpture.
This medium allows to create three-dimensional mosaics.
