Vanaf 8 januari 2016 is in het Provinciehuis van Flevoland de duo expositie “Van ver en dichtbij”van Esther van der Zee en Tiny de Bruin te bezichtigen
De expositie “Van ver en dichtbij” vraagt de kijker om positie te nemen ten opzichte van het getoonde werk. Het is van een afstand te bekijken, maar het werk kan ook onder je huid kruipen en je raken. De titel symboliseert ook de weg die we zelf als mens afleggen: we zijn van ver gekomen, maar komen ook steeds dichter bij wie we werkelijk zijn.
De expositie toont het expressieve beeldhouwwerk van Esther van der Zee en de kleurrijke meestal abstracte schilderijen van Tiny de Bruin.
De hele maand januari is de expositie “Van ver en dichtbij” te bezoeken in het Provinciehuis van Flevoland.
Op vrijdag 8 januari vindt de officiële opening plaats vanaf 16:00 uur onder het genot van een hapje en drankje. U bent van harte welkom!

Biography
The paintings of the Tiny de Bruin give on the basis of the central theme "Patterns of Life," an impression of several defining moments of a lifetime. They tell at a glance the story of change that is so important in life.
Tiny de Bruin about her work: "I get the inspiration from nature, my immediate surroundings and stories I hear or read. Cheerful colours and wild paintings are an expression of creativity and enthusiasm. Soft colours are more an expression of a melancholy mood. Often I work out an abstract design. Meanwhile, my paintings are also influenced by a spiritual personal development process that I've started in 2005. I want my paintings to create a moment where the thinking process stops and intuition takes over.
