About Thierry Machuron

Trained in architecture at the Boulle school, I'm an artist, and teacher of applied arts & Design. Drawing is my preferred mode of expression, with travel experiences and impressions as my main models. I've been travelling the world for more than fifteen years and brings back images, most often drawn, from many countries : Cuba, Tahiti, China, United States, Russia, Europe... Drawings in ink, felt, watercolour, graphic tablet, from nature or back in the workshop. The spirit of my work is to understand with drawing instead of photographing. Drawing, and painting is for me a real way of thinking. I can sell original works, and numbered limited editions in silkscreen prints or digital prints.
