  • Biography

    The Krah was raised in Athens, where he became a prolific graffiti artist in the 90's. He has remained a prominent artist over the last 18 years by painting the streets while touring around Europe and Asian countries such as Japan and Thailand, and leaving a piece in every city. Having been born in the UK, The Krah moved to London after the new Millennia and has since had a variety solo shows in London and one in Berlin. The Krah's work is in a large range of private collections.

    He also curates art shows in Athens, where he remains living, and world-wide.

    Event: ArtCore Summer show 2018

    Venue: CROWSNEST GALLERY, 3-5 Crowthorne Road, London W10 6RP, under the Westway

    ArtCore international is pleased to announce the 2018 Summer group show that will take place at the Crows Nest Gallery in West London.
    The Opening will be on the 15th of June 2018, the show will be on until the 28th of June.

    The Crow's Nest Gallery is not your average art gallery. It boasts an impressive 1,500 sq meters of gallery space, with the main room’s exposed ceiling beams keeps 10 meters of headroom for your contemplation. The façade of the gallery features larger-than-life graffiti by artists from the gallery’s premier exhibition. The gallery resides in a converted MOT building, lovingly re-purposed by the non-profit UK charity, Artcore International.

    3 ofThe Krah's limited edition screen prints are in the V&A Museum collection, the prints have been featured in a book published by the V&A Museum called: Street Art Contemporary prints.

    Event: ESTHISIS: the urban art sensation hits West London

    Venue: CROWSNEST GALLERY, 3-5 Crowthorne Road, London W10 6RP, under the Westway

    The second exhibition for Artcore International’s newest gallery, Crow's Nest Gallery, features contemporary art from a diverse selection of international urban artists, many of whom have developed from writing illegal graffiti and have risen in popularity to exhibit at esteemed art establishments like Victoria & Albert Museum, Moniker Art Fair, Miami Basel Art Fair, Nuart Festival and Cans Festival organised by Banksy.

    International artists from Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Greece, Germany, Australia and North America sit amongst a pool of talented British artists. World renowned metal sculpture artists who previously rocked their work at Burning Man Festival and Glastonbury Festival add some Mad-Max fury to the Crow's Nest special winter exhibition. A sprinkling of the most-promising newcomers on the scene, who will be taking stage for the first time, add a cherry to the top of this fiery Christmas Pudding.

    In the heart of Bristol's most bohemian district, next month I will be showing lots of my new surreal paintings in the Arts house in Stokes Croft.

    The show will be on until Tuesday the 7th of April.

    A few years ago I lived in the area and I still rent an art studio there, I love the city so I am very glad to be doing my first show of 2015 in Bristol, to show all my new paintings.

    For all of you that will be attending the opening I will have lots of sketches, limited edition prints and publications that will be on sale just for the opening.

    Modern Panic V is a collection of surreal, controversial and provocative new wave modern artists. Inspired by the Panic Movement formed in 1960s by Fernando Arrabal, Alejandro Jodorowsky and Roland Topor. This exhibition is all about artists of the now, and the importance of concept of panic and censorship in the current social/political climate. We are very excited about some of the very unique artists we have confirmed, and details of these will be announced gradually via our website. http://www.guerrillazoo.com/

    For a third year we are using Apiary Studios which is based at 458 Hackney Road, London E2 9EG. We will have two main gallery rooms and a rotating live art space / film screening room.
    We will be holding the exhibition for 10 days from Friday 7th until Sunday 16th November.
