About T Barny

Biography
I aspire to create sculpture that reflects a universe filled with magic and wonder. My works are produced through a method of direct carving, which entails having no preconceived notions or models from which to derive the final shape of my pieces. I allow myself to be guided by the natural rhythms of the stone. I create sculptures in stone as well as bronze and am best known for my mobius, superellipsoid and curvilinear shapes. I'd like to present my work on a variety of platforms, not just my own website or galleries that represent me. Artfinder is a well known and trusted site for the sale and purchase of art.

Please join us to Paint Rocks 2.0! in celebration of International Sculpture Day on Sunday, April 28th from 1pm to 4pm. at the T Barny Gallery & Sculpture Gardens.

Inspired by the Kindness Rocks Project and Sonoma County groups Healdsburg Rocks, Santa Rosa Rocks, and Petaluma Rocks, we will be painting rocks to hide far and wide, spreading inspiration and a smile to all who come across them.

The Kindness Rocks Project is to Inspire others through randomly placed rocks along the way and Recruit every person who stumbles upon it to join in the pursuit of inspiring others through random acts of kindness.

This event is in partnership with the International Sculpture Center, Creative Sonoma, and Facebook Healdsburg Rocks. Please let us know if you a coming so we can have a rock for you – sculpture@tbarny.com
