About Tawab Safi

Im Tawab Safi, I live in the city of Krimpen aan den IJssel in Netherlands. As far as I can remember, I have always been involved in image making: drawing, sketching, painting, designing. I studied art at G.M. Maimanagi Art Academy in Kabul in Realistic and Figurative Painting and Calligraphy. People, culture, music, nature and mostly simple themes are the sources of inspiration for my work. I see art everywhere, My artworks are the translation of my feelings. With my art I want to tell life, strength, music, movement in a colorful world. My paintings are impressionist and I paint and draw with watercolor, oil paint, acrylic paint and pencils. To develop myself more in graphic design and web design, I started studying at the Willem de Kooning Art Academy and Media College in Rotterdam. In addition to my art, as a graphic designer and web designer I am concerned with the identity of companies. I do this from my studio (Tasalogic Media). I design the corporate identity, website or design part of it for my clients. I also collaborate on the art projects with other foundations. I regularly exhibit my paintings and give art workshops with which different groups of people from different societies can be engaged.
