  • Biography
I am from China. I graduated from the Art University. I started to learn painting when I was in middle school. It was also at that time that I learned about Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. I love Van Gogh’s works of art. For this reason, I read "Van Gogh" three times, this book gave me an in-depth understanding of Van Gogh's life. I copied Van Gogh's works repeatedly and found inspiration from Van Gogh's works. After graduating from university, I have been engaged in art and design work for work reasons. Two years ago, I picked up the paintbrush again and rediscovered the dream of being an artist when I was a student. I love nature. When I was doing art design work, I also became a professional photographer. I like to travel, and I have photographed a lot of beautiful scenery of nature. I have always used brushes to express the impulse of nature. Van Gogh’s paintings There is an indelible memory in my mind, which always drives me to pick up the brush and paint nature with my heart. I have used gouache paint, acrylic paint, and finally, I used oil paint. I still think oil paint is more expressive. I have painted a lot of landscapes in the past two years. Most of them were small works when I first started (8 inches-16 inches), but this year I painted a larger size (20 inches-36 inches), now I am really experiencing the joy of painting, and I am more confident that I can persevere and fulfill my dream of becoming an artist. I often look for my favorite artists on Pinterest and Instagram to learn about new painting techniques. I know Artfinder from these two websites. Artfinder can expand the channels for me to promote my works.
