  • Biography
    Original oil painting and acrylic on canvas from the artist Obuhova Tanya - landscapes, flowers, animals, people, seascapes.
    Tatyana studied art and design at the Academy of Art in Riga, Latvia. After finishing school and receiving her degree, she was sponsored to continue study in Europe where she was seriously engaged in the art of painting on canvas, silk, and creating murals.

    She has been working as a full-time artist and muralist for almost 20 years. She has worked in various media: oil, watercolors, pastels, and batik.

    In 2005, she opened a private boutique, where she exhibited a collection of painted clothes, bags, and accessories. In 2007, she spent several months working on a restoration of the Orthodox Church in France.

    She had 3 large personal exhibitions at the gallery "Z7 Saxophone" in Riga, which was a great achievement. Many of her works scattered throughout the private collections in Ireland, the UK, France, Germany, Russia, Latvia, and the USA.
    In the meantime, Tatyana resides in Ireland where she continues her artwork. She focuses on interior design and murals. The objects of her art are walls of hospitals, assisted living, hotels, kindergartens, restaurants, bars, and private homes
