Biography
Hello, I’m Tanja Frost, a full-time artist based in Nitra, Slovakia. Growing up in a multicultural family and living in five different countries, I've been shaped by the rich tapestry of cultures and traditions around me. Since 2016, I’ve been fully dedicated to creating art, and each day I feel that my connection with nature only grows deeper.
As a guest on this beautiful planet, I am constantly awed by the Earth's natural beauty. My art reflects this sense of wonder, capturing fleeting moments of light and color across landscapes, and translating them into rich, emotional scenes. I primarily work with oils on canvas, blending Realism and Impressionism to infuse each piece with vivid colors and atmospheric depth. My landscapes often emerge in glowing sunset tones or sparkle with evening lights, capturing nature’s magic in a way that feels alive.
If you, too, feel like an admirer and guest on this remarkable planet, my art might just find a place in your home and heart. My works are part of private collections in the US and Europe, and I’ve had the joy of exhibiting in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Italy. Many collectors return, saying my paintings bring a special warmth to their lives.
