  • Biography

    Silkscreen Print Artist, Talia Russell’s iconic landscapes are punctuated by dynamic, bold, contrasting & harmonious colours, made dramatic by large-scale compositions which capture the essence of the natural world through an interplay of colour, texture & form.

    Russell combines both digital & traditional techniques to produce iconic images which are both playful, colourful & nostalgic. Her artistic influences are grounded in travel posters, which are evident in the vivid colour combinations & graphic arrangements in her artwork.

    These limited-edition prints are exclusively all hand-pulled, & these minor variations to each print ensure a unique original work of art.

    An exciting group show by three unique artists. Introducing Kim Boyd – Ceramic Artist, Tracey Currington – Abstract painter and Talia Russell Silk Screen Printer. All three work together at Estuary Arts Centre in Orewa a Charitable Trust and have carved some time out of their busy schedule to create a group show, showcasing their talent.

    A group show in which I created a limited edition print of an Albatross.
    Created during lockdown with a hand cut stencil.
