About Svitlana Druzhko

  • Biography
I live and work in my hometown Kharkiv, Ukraine. I would identify myself as a realist painter. I want to capture on paper realistic scenes in deep, lush colors and shadowy patterns of refracted sunlight. I want others to see this beauty of life and appreciate it. At the moment I am working in the technique of watercolor. This technique is magical, because pigments, water and paper miraculously interact so that I am pleasantly surprised by the result. I continue to explore this technique, communicating with colleagues and participating in national and international exhibitions in Switzerland ( 2016) , Slovakia ( 2017) and Serbia, Ukraine ( 2018).
