About Stojan Milanov

I paint because I feel it is the best thing I can offer to others, as well as to myself. I realized this as soon as I started painting oil on canvas, a couple of years after a period during which I practiced drawing and sketching. I was 23 at the time, and this realization became a strong motivation for me throughout the years. Being an artist is a great privilege and one of the best ways for people to develop and prosper as individuals, get to know themselves and offer something to others. The thing that motivates me the most when I work is curiosity. It makes me question how far I can go and how deeply I can perceive things, and how I am going to present all that. The surprises that come along are an enormous pleasure for me and I cherish them.   

Stojan Milanov

 Born in 1963. in Belgrade. He has been a professional painter since 1985. and member of  ULUPUDS  and  ULUS  , freelance artist.

 His themes are landscapes , cityscape,and human figure , technique oil on canvas.

Graduated from the University of Architecture in Belgrade.

He has participated in many collective exhibitions and art meetings.
