I'm a graphic designer and illustrator who has been lucky enough to make a living from doing what I love all my working life. I've designed dozens (maybe hundreds) of book jackets and illustrated over a dozen children's books (and been published in over 20 countries).

I've wanted to be an illustrator since I was a small child. I was first inspired by Marvel Comics at the age of eight or nine; and I've retained a love for line and bright colours ever since.

In my personal work I like to do sketchy little drawings in pencil and then I add colour and collage elements digitally. I also love typography and combine that with hand drawn elements and found images and vintage textures that I scan and compose digitally.
