I just have to paint, I can't do anything else! I work hard trying to produce beautiful paintings which capture some sort of mood and lI gating. The subjects range from landscape to architectural and seascapes to figurative. They often include people, cows, sheep and horses. Every stage of the painting process is hand made in a traditional way using traditional methods. Canvases are made with Rabit skin glue and boards are made using good old gesso. (Artists have been using gesso for hundreds of years). I even make the frames, colouring and gilding them myself to suit each painting.
