About Nancy Stainton

I have been doing art since I was 8. I love to draw, paint, create, experiment, view art and get to know artists and art lovers. I have only recently focused on marketing my art thus, Artfinder. It seems that selling art online may be a viable way to market, an alternative to galleries. I believe in this principle. I am constantly experimenting with the balance of line and color. I'm not sure if I love to draw or paint more. I love the idea of combining both. I have used several mediums over the years as my tastes changed. Currently I love soft pastels for their brilliance, texture and illuminescence. I love to paint people of different ethnicities. I produce original paintings for sale but also do commissioned portraits of people and animals.
