About soonja cook

  • Biography
I am a first generation immigrant from South Korea. I came to the United States in 1974, with only a small amount of belongings. As a person of color living in the southern United States, I have experienced the rough waves and have persevered just as I complete my paintings of wave, water and sea which is my main focus of work. I have my own studio in Goldenbelt Arts which group of 25 artists work individually and exhibit works as a group. We have fairly good exposure to public by our group exhibition. But I feel I can explore some other options to share my work more globally. I found Artfinder is the best way to achieve my goal.
