Biography
I am Ruta from Vilnius, Lithuania. Being 3 years old I started to attend art classes and until now I still drawing :) My life changed when were born two wonderful children, then I discovered painting on silk. Now I draw everything: paintings, shawls, dresses, curtains.
I discovered painting on silk more than ten years ago quite unexpectedly. After trying to cast a tiny scarf, I was very impressed with the process and have become on silk so far. For me, it’s relaxation, forgetting worries, a desire to try new techniques, and a curiosity about what a finished job will look like.
