About Shawn P. Bailey
Biography
Some things I love: places with no cell coverage, seldom-used trails, blue shadows on sandstone cliffs, big fluffy clouds, sagebrush and cactus, the west. I paint how wild places—the colors and forms, the space, the light—make me feel. I paint the essential details and leave out the rest. Most of all, I paint with a heart full of gratitude. I am saying "I was here, this is what I saw, and I was grateful for it all."
