    Seruni Bodjawati is an award-winning Indonesian visual artist and painter known for her profound and evocative artwork. She graduated from the prestigious Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, earning both her Bachelor’s (S1) and Master’s (S2) degrees in Fine Arts with a specialization in painting. Her work has been showcased in top art galleries and museums across Indonesia, Asia, Europe, and America, making her one of the most influential contemporary artists from Indonesia.

    Seruni began painting at a young age and won multiple children’s painting competitions in Yogyakarta and Central Java as early as the age of three, laying the foundation for her remarkable career. She pursued a formal education in Fine Arts at ISI Yogyakarta, where she deepened her expertise in painting and art creation. Her dedication and innovation in the field earned her the Best Painting Award during the university’s Dies Natalis celebrations in 2010 and 2011.
