About Scott Grant

I'm an artist and photographer, born and living in Yorkshire, just a few moments away from the North Sea.

I produce photographic images from the edge of where the ocean meets the land - and slightly beyond.  Working mostly in black and white, I confine myself to the coastline of ‘old Yorkshire’ - from Redcar in the north - to Spurn Point in the south.  This stretch of land, with its beaches, bays, cliffs and coves, provides a wealth of inspiration and opportunity.

This rich variety also motivates me to create memories of literal, lost and imaginary landscapes and seascapes, using oil paint and mixed media techniques. 

I've exhibited and sold paintings and photographs throughout the world, and had images published in over sixty countries.
