About Saroj Buch

I've been inspired by many artists, I studied "A" level Art and Design in which I learnt still life drawing and how to use different art medium, I took a short break from art when my two children were very young but gradually I came back into art through work as a early years teacher working with young children gave me so many opportunities to explore a variety of art medium and gradually I started painting in my spare time using Acrylic paint and then also discovered the calming effect of using good quality watercolours. A simple idea will sometimes start an explosion of opportunities, the idea can come from colours or something I've seen in nature, I try to put these ideas on canvas or paper as soon as possible. I find it so therapeutic to mix colours. I like to express myself through my paintings. My favourite colours are Sap green, Crimson red, Titanium white, Violet and Phthalo blue.
