About Sara Kleib

My practice is centered around digital drawing and painting. I focus on the theme of the eerie, the relationship between the Self and the Other and their role in the formation of one's identity, in particular during childhood.

I try to convey those feelings in my work by drawing images that evoke the sensation of eerie to me. By exploring my memory and getting inspiration from works that create a similar feeling, my aim is to communicate this sensation to the viewer and to encourage them to reflect on the boundary between the Self and the Unknown.
