  • Biography

    As a contemporary still life painter, I find great joy in exploring the beauty of light and its play on different surfaces. This fascination has led me on a journey of discovery and exploration, constantly challenging myself to find new ways to represent this ever-changing and elusive phenomenon. 

    Through my art, I strive to create a sense of wonder and awe, inviting viewers to pause and contemplate the beauty of the world around us. Whether it's a simple glass bottle or a complex arrangement of objects, I seek to convey the essence of their unique character and the stories they hold. My work is a celebration of the present moment, an invitation to slow down and appreciate the simple yet profound moments of life.

    SAA Artist of the Year Competition 2016, Highly Commended

    I am delighted to have been chosen from over 5000 entries to be one of 50 finalists of the SAA Artist of the Year Competition, 2016. As a result, my work was hung in their three month exhibition and consequently I received a 'highly Commended' award.
