About Roslyn Mayne-Caudwell
Biography
My paintings have been likened to Rorschach (inkblot) tests, in that they can be interpreted in many different ways, and are like mirrors held up to the viewer rather than anything with a defined subject. I like to experiment with different techniques and mediums, art is enjoyment for me, not work.
My ceramics practice is mostly focused on functional pieces, as I prefer to create art that you will see or use every day. A lot of my ceramic pieces are purchased as gifts, there's something very special about giving someone a handmade and unique piece of pottery for their daily use. You can find my ceramics pieces on my website.
I create from my studio here at home, and when I'm not Painting, Potting or Photographing, I also play Piano. And just because all my hobbies can't start wth the letter P, I also play the (P)Cello!
