Biography
From a very young age I was interested in art, always being surrounded by it, through books, travel, visits to museums and exhibitions. I started painting as a self-taught person, but I didn't continue until I moved to a coastal town, on the Golden Coast, in Tarragona (Spain), where inspiration from the sea came to me naturally, and since then I haven't stopped painting. I am passionate about painting as a means of expression, and due to my training in Art History, I enjoy studying the great artists of all time. However, I consider William Turner as my reference, as a model of representation and trigger to start the artistic adventure. Over the years I specialized in abstract, atmospheric and tonal art, which is what gives me freedom of movement, creating textures, blurs, glazes, researching techniques and experimenting with colors. It is my way of expressing feelings, with the aim of reaching the observer. In each work there is a part of my personality: optimism, strength, introspection, intimacy, joy, resilience, trying to create a harmonious and beautiful work. Throughout this process, he also ventured into more risky styles, creating expressionist works, equipped with more color, geometries and spontaneous lines. The goal is to show the world this vital experience and this fascinating adventure.
