Biography
Roseanne Jones, a Bachelor of Design (Photography) graduate from ARA, Christchurch (2016-2018), finds her creative inspiration in the evocative realms of vintage photography and alternative subcultures, particularly drawn to the intricate aesthetics of Gothic and BDSM cultures.
Fuelled by imagination, fantasy, and a deep exploration of her own sexuality, Roseanne's artistic repertoire encompasses a diverse range of subjects. Her portfolio prominently features b&w winter trees, skulls, female nudes and erotica, often expressed through the mediums of photo encaustic.
With a keen eye for detail and a penchant for pushing boundaries, Roseanne has garnered recognition nationally. Her accolades include prestigious awards such as the Canon Eyecon Award and the esteemed title of NZIPP Student of the Year.
Over the span of eight years, Roseanne Jones has established herself as a prominent figure in the Christchurch art scene, exhibiting and selling her captivating works in numerous art exhibitions and shows.
