About Rodney Kingston

The challenge to produce a 2D painting from 3D subjects, whether they be people, places or objects drives my art. I paint my surroundings in London and beyond ‘en plein air’. I’m a regular life drawer and love to paint portraits of inspiring people. Still life subjects such as food packaging including Marmite jars and Coke bottles are intriguing to capture when painting in the studio. Painting from life is the key to my fulfilment and has been the driving force behind developing my work. I want to sell on Artfindr as I love the concept of reaching people far and wide through a dedicated, quality, online selling space. The world has developed so much in the last 10 years with the way people buy and sell anything and everything. You guys have set up a great space for artists to reach potential clients and I’d love to be part of the venture.
