    I love painting on location because it allows me to connect directly with the landscape around me. Being outside, feeling the wind, hearing the sounds, and watching the light shift moment by moment – it brings an immediacy and freshness to my work. There’s something magical about capturing a scene as it unfolds in real time. It’s both a challenge and a joy, and it keeps me present, observant, and inspired by the world as it is, right here and now.

    I love working in my painting studio because it’s nestled right in the middle of the woods. Surrounded by trees, birdsong, and the changing light of the seasons, I feel calm and focused. The peacefulness of nature helps me to slow down, tune in, and fully immerse myself in the creative process. It’s a place where time feels different – quieter, deeper – and where inspiration flows naturally.
