Biography

I'm a young professional artist from the Netherlands and my big passion is oil painting. I paint alla prima and in a quick and expressive way. I try to capture subjects with pace but without haste. I paint still lifes, portraits and landscapes; I haven’t figured out yet what fascinates me most. What I do know is that I love expressive brushstrokes, warm-cold contrasts and reflections. I paint things that move me.

Event: Sales exhibition featuring a collection of my work

Over the course of one weekend, nearly 50 of my paintings were on display at a beautiful meeting location. This sales exhibition featured a diverse selection of my work, offering visitors the chance to explore and purchase pieces ranging from recent creations to earlier works.

In 2023, my work was on display for a full week in the festival tent of the Painting Festival in Noordwijk. Surrounded by the work of fellow artists, my paintings were part of this vibrant and inspiring event where art and audience came together. It was a special experience to exhibit my work in such an energetic atmosphere, close to the sea and at the heart of a festival that celebrates the art of painting.
