About Richard Garnham
Biography
Born in London Richard took to art at an early age at school, and was told by legendary local art teacher Barry Clarke that he was the most gifted pupil he had ever taught. But art wasn't going to be Richards chosen career in life, only undertaking occasional commissions for friends and family. Now later in life he has decided to restart his passion for art. He is self taught and has the ability to work with any medium of paint, oil, acrylic, water colour or pencil. His favourite style is large paintings of iconic stars of the past and present. He says they always make an impact when people walk into rooms. Only starting in 2014 he is rapidly building a reputation for producing stunning large iconic paintings that make any wall look "super cool". His work is now being displayed on Artfinder and he feels that this is a great platform for his work. Having had work shown in the United States he is looking forward to spending more time there to build up his reputation. Please enjoy his work - it really is very cool.
