Biography
His artistic name is Rezo Iverieli, born in Georgia on April 29, 1981. He received a classical education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tbilisi, Georgia with Professor Guram Guntsadze and later with Professor Goghi Totibadze. During his studies at the Academy, he participated in various exhibitions in different art galleries.
From 2007 to 2009 he worked on various restoration projects in Georgia in Tbilisi, at the same time he worked as a teacher of figurative arts in an art school.
Since 2009 he has been living in Italy, in Florence. In 2013 he worked in the field of restoration in Florence in the Studio Techne laboratory and in various museums including the Bargello.
As a Plein Air painter, he paints in oil and in other different materials using various painting techniques. At the same time, he teaches figurative art in a Sunday school to the Georgian community in Florence.
Experience in the field of Restoration. During his work experience in Restoration in Florence, he assisted and collaborated in all the daily tasks related to the Restoration of the Great Cart used for the "Scoppio del Carro" event for Easter 2013. He participated in the Restoration of the terracotta lunette by Dello Delli of the Hospital of Santa Maria Nuova, the Restoration of the marble sculptures of the Pelli Bencivenni monument in the Basilica of Santa Croce and the Restoration of various artifacts and furniture in the Laboratories of Studio Techne.
