I realized relatively early on that I prefer to create things freely. At school there were always guidelines about how you should paint and do crafts, I always did something different, which was pretty frustrating because the grades were correspondingly lower. But several years ago I realized that this is exactly what I wanted to implement artistically. I became an abstract painter. My paintings are about the confrontation of polarity. I was very concerned with heavy and easy. Lightness is what I want to convey. Inspiring from the forms of architecture and urban planning. But also from nature such as stones and their cracks caused by weather. The color combinations arise from observations of animals, people and their clothing, and house facades that I find fascinating.
