Regina Mailloux is a contemporary oil painter whose work explores folklore, symbolism, and nature. Drawing inspiration from literature and subtle moments of mystery, her paintings feature luminous figures, wildlife, and richly layered environments that invite viewers into contemplative worlds.

Working primarily in oil, Regina is drawn to classical techniques while infusing her compositions with a modern, poetic sensibility. Themes of curiosity, innocence, resilience, and hidden stories thread through her work, creating pieces that feel both intimate and cinematic.

Through carefully orchestrated color, light, and detail, Regina aims to evoke a sense of wonder and introspection, encouraging viewers to uncover the story unfolding within each canvas.

Regina is a member of Heartful Soul Art Collective on Facebook and every month she paints a new painting which is then sold at auction price. She is also a guest instructor for Paint Your Heart and Soul 2027, where she will be teaching a color study and interpretation of one of the Pre-Raphaelite Old Masters.
